Questions answered

CookFeed, explained

A few useful details before you get started.

Where can I use CookFeed?

CookFeed is available on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and in your web browser. Your account, recipes, and preferences stay in sync.

What are AI credits for?

AI credits are used for eligible CookFeed AI tools, such as recipe generation, planning, and other assisted cooking workflows.

What is included with Free and Premium?

Every cooking tool is unlocked on Free: cook mode, shopping lists, the meal calendar, pantry tracking, collections, and recipe scaling. Premium raises the limits — recipes, favorites, imports, exports and translations — and includes a monthly or yearly allowance of AI credits.

Do I need Premium to use the AI features?

No. The AI tools run on AI credits, not on a subscription. Eligible verified new accounts start with 25 AI credits, and you can buy a one-off credit pack at any time without subscribing. Premium is the cheaper route if you use them regularly.

What happens when I run out of AI credits?

Everything that does not call the AI keeps working — your recipes, cook mode, shopping lists, the meal calendar, pantry tracking and collections are unaffected. To use the AI tools again, buy a credit pack or start Premium.

Is Premium better value than buying credit packs?

It depends how often you use the AI tools. Packs come in 100, 300 and 700 credits and suit occasional use. Premium monthly includes 500 credits every month, and Premium annual includes 7,000 a year — ten times the largest pack — plus the higher account limits.

Do unused AI credits expire?

No. Credits are added to your balance and stay there, so an unused month is not lost.

Will my recipes sync across devices?

Yes. Sign in with the same CookFeed account and your recipes, favorites, and profile stay connected across supported platforms.

Can I change my chef name later?

Yes. You can change your chef name in Settings. Username rules and a change interval help protect public names.

Your next meal may already be in your fridge.

Start free, add a few ingredients, and let CookFeed turn them into a plan.
