AI recipe generator

Describe the dish. Get the recipe.

Start from the meal you have in mind rather than from what is in the cupboard. Type or dictate what you want—“a creamy chicken pasta with mushrooms”—add a photo if it is easier to show than to describe, and CookFeed writes a complete recipe you can edit before saving.

CookFeed AI recipe generator with a dish description field, voice input, and camera and gallery options

How it works

From input to something you can use.

1

Describe the dish you want

Type it or use voice input. A short description is enough—add detail only where it changes the recipe you need.

2

Add a photo if it helps

Camera or gallery, and entirely optional. Useful when a dish is easier to show than to put into words.

3

Review, edit, and save

Every result is a draft. Check the quantities, method and timings, change anything you want, then save it to your collection.

Why CookFeed

The feature is useful because the workflow stays connected.

Starts from the dish, not the cupboard

Use this when you already know what you want to eat. When you want ideas built around food you already own, the ingredients-first workflow is the better starting point.

Describe it however suits you

Type the dish, dictate it with voice input, or add a photo when showing is easier than explaining.

Drafts, not verdicts

Results arrive editable. Check quantities, timings, and anything allergy-related yourself before you cook.

Questions

Useful details before you try it.

How is this different from cooking with what I have?

This one starts from the dish you want and writes that recipe. The ingredients-first workflow runs the other way round: you list what is already in your kitchen and CookFeed suggests what you could make from it. They are separate tools in the app.

What does one recipe cost?

Recipe generation uses 8 AI credits. Eligible verified new accounts start with 25 credits, one-off credit packs can be bought without subscribing, and Premium includes a monthly or yearly allowance.

Where does my description go?

Your description, and the photo if you add one, are sent to Google Gemini to produce the recipe. The mobile apps ask for your agreement before the first AI request and let you withdraw it again in Settings.

Try the workflow with your own food.
