Carrot Halwa (Gajar Ka Halwa) is a traditional Indian sweet made by slowly cooking freshly grated carrots with milk, sugar, and ghee. Ingredients
- 4 cups 500g 4 cups grated red carrots (about 500 g)
- 2 cups 500ml Full fat milk
- 4 to 5 tablespoons Sugar or jaggery(adjust to taste)
- 3 tablesppons Ghee
- 3-4 green cardamom pods(powdered)
- 8 -10 cashews (chopped)
- 8-10 almonds (sliced)
- 3 - 5 raisins
